Fyrendal Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Øster Flakkebjerg Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Fuglebjerg Municipality in Vestsjællands Amt , which was merged into Næstved Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
751 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Fyrendal Kirke".
Neighboring communities are Hårslev Sogn in the north, Kvislemark Sogn in the northeast, Marvede Sogn in the east and Karrebæk Sogn in the southeast , and Holsteinborg Sogn and Venslev Sogn in the neighboring Slagelse municipality to the west .
