Skelby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Tybjerg Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Suså Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Næstved Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

667 inhabitants live in the parish, 300 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Skelby Kirke" and the Runddysse of Ulstrup are located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Glumsø Sogn in the north, Herlufmagle Sogn and Rislev Sogn in the east, Herlufsholm Sogn in the south, Gunderslev Sogn in the west and Bavelse Sogn in the north-west .
