Hammer Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Hammer Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Fladså Municipality in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Næstved Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

1465 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Hammer Kirke".

Neighboring municipalities are in the north-west Vester Egesborg Sogn , in the north Mogenstrup Sogn , in the north-east Everdrup Sogn and in the east Snesere Sogn , furthermore in the south neighboring Vordingborg municipality Bårse Sogn , Lundby Sogn and Køng Sogn .
