Vejlø Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Hammer Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Næstved Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into the "new" Næstved Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

The parish has 2201 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). Vejlø Kirke is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Sankt Mortens Sogn in the north, Rønnebæk Sogn in the northeast and Vester Egesborg Sogn in the east .
