Masku [ ˈmɑsku ] ( Swedish : Masko ) is a municipality in south-western Finland with 9554 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2018). It is located in the Varsinais-Suomi landscape 18 kilometers northwest of Turku .

Masku Parish covers an area of 204.41 square kilometers. Neighboring communities are Mynämäki in the north, Nousiainen in the northeast, Rusko in the east and Raisio in the southeast. To the sea, Masku borders Naantali and Taivassalo . The community center is inland, in the west the community has a share of the Baltic Sea coast. Part of the offshore archipelago also belongs to Masku. The first mention of Masku comes from the year 1234. This makes Masku, together with Nousiainen, the oldest parish in Finland mentioned in a document . The northern part of the island of Otava belonged to Masku until 1865 , before it became independent as the municipality of Merimasku ("Meer-Masku"). At the beginning of 2009, the communities Lemu and Askainen were incorporated into Masku.

There are two medieval stone churches in the community : the church of Masku was built around 1500, the church of Lemu dates from the second half of the 15th century. The Kankainen and Louhisaari castles are also located in Masku . Kankainen was built in the mid-16th century and rebuilt from 1762 to 1763. Louhisaari is one of the few baroque palace buildings in Finland. The building, completed in 1655, was the seat of the aristocratic Fleming family until 1791, who gave up the property out of financial difficulties in 1791 and finally sold it to Count Carl Erik Mannerheim , who was the first offspring of this Swedish aristocratic family to settle in Finland. He was the great-grandfather of the later Finnish Marshal and President Carl Gustaf Mannerheim (1867–1951), who was born at the castle. The castle also includes a chapel, built in 1653, in whose churchyard the Mannerheim crypt is located. The furniture store chain of the same name was founded in Masku and today has branches throughout Finland. The most famous resident of Masku is the tennis player Jarkko Nieminen .
