Maximilian Kastner (born January 3, 1993 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract at EHC Red Bull Munich in the German ice hockey league since March 2015 in the position of striker .

Career

Kastner first went through all youth departments of the SC Riessersee and played, among other things, very successfully in the DNL . Already in the 2010/11 season he received 7 appearances in regular time and 13 appearances in the playoffs for the 1st team of SC Riessersee in the major league . In addition, Kastner completed three missions in the German U-18 national ice hockey team in the 2010/11 season. Kastner has been in the regular line-up of the 2nd Bundesliga team since the 2011/12 season . In the 2014/15 season he was also eligible to play for the DEL cooperation partner of SC Riessersee, the EHC Red Bull Munich , thanks to a sponsorship license , but only played one game for the Munich team. There he received a permanent contract for the 2015/16 season , after SC Riessersee left the DEL2 pre-playoffs.
