The district Mianwali is an administrative district in Pakistan in the province of Punjab . The seat of the district administration is the city of the same name Mianwali .

The district has an area of ​​5840 km² and according to the census of 2017 1,546,094 inhabitants. The population density is 265 inhabitants / km². The Punjabi language is spoken by the majority in the district .
