Mike Olsowski

Mike Olsowski (* 1973 in Lübeck ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

Mike Olsowski completed his acting training from 1996 to 2000 at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich . During his training he played small roles at the Münchner Kammerspiele , a. a. in directorial work by Dieter Dorn . In 1999 he was a guest at the United Theaters of Bolzano as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet . This was followed in 2000 by an engagement with the Berlin men's ensemble, where he played Adela in Bernarda Alba's house in the Sophiensælen .

He had his first permanent engagement from 2000–2002 at Theater Krefeld , with roles such as Cleante in Der Geizige (2000, directed by Volker Schmalöer ), Johann in Die Familie Schroffenstein (2002, directed by Kay Neumann ) and Hakenfinger-Jakob in Brecht / Weill's Die Threepenny Opera (2000–2002, director: Jens Pesel ). He then worked at the Munster Municipal Theaters from the 2002/03 season until the summer of 2004 . Here he played u. a. Wetter vom Strahl in Das Käthchen von Heilbronn (2003, directed by Volker Schmalöer), Biff in Death of a Salesman (2004, directed by Markus Kopf) and Marinelli in Emilia Galotti (2004, directed by Volker Schmalöer).

At the beginning of the 2004/05 season he moved to the Staatstheater Kassel , where he stayed until 2007. During his time in Kassel he worked a. a. with the directors Schirin Khodadadian , Donald Berkenhoff , Jette Steckel and again several times with Volker Schmalöer. There belonged u. a. Franz Moor in Die Räuber (2006, director: Schirin Khodadadian) and Domingo in Don Karlos (2007, director: Volker Schmalöer) about his roles.

In 2009 he made his first guest appearance at the Ernst Deutsch Theater in Hamburg as Haimon in Antigone (director: Albert Lang ). In 2009 he played the Marquis von Posa in Don Karlos at the Lüneburg Theater . In 2010/2011 he was a guest at the Altona Theater as King Marchard in the musical Victor / Victoria . He had other engagements at the Ernst Deutsch Theater as Nihad in Burns by Wajdi Mouawad (2012, directed by Albert Lang) and as Mike Drysdale in the German-language premiere of David Hare's play Gethesame (2012, directed by Rüdiger Burbach).

Olsowski also took on a few film and television roles. In Maike Mia Höhne's film 3/4 (2014) he played alongside Anneke Kim Sarnau , Helene Grass and Stephan Szász . He had episode roles in the television series Coast Guard (2015; as Harald Jacobs), The Church Remains in the Village (2015; as a teacher Manfred Näher, with Karoline Eichhorn as a partner) and Die Pfefferkörner (2016; as father Thomas Dose, whose son through an artificial Fertilization was conceived, at the side of Maria Ketikidou ). In January 2017, Olsowski starred in the television series In All Friendship - The Young Doctors in an episode lead role; he played the father Stefan Laukner, who has a difficult relationship with his daughter.

Olsowski recorded numerous radio plays , including a. in productions for BR , WDR , NDR , Deutschlandradio and for Toneworx. Between 2010 and 2016 he was a regular speaker for the radio drama series Die Drei ??? , Five friends , TKKG and Bob the builder committed.

Olsowski is a member of the Federal Association of Film and Television Actors (BFFS). He lives in Hamburg.
