NGC 2208 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Fuhrmann north of the celestial equator . It is estimated to be 263 million light years from the Milky Way and about 125,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on November 24, 1886 .
