NGC 4092 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sab with an active galaxy core in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is an estimated 298 million light years from the Milky Way and about 90,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4089 , NGC 4091 , NGC 4093 , NGC 4095 .
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on April 26, 1785 .
