NGC 4093 is a compact galaxy of Hubble type E with active galactic nucleus in the constellation Coma Berenices the northern sky . It is an estimated 320 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 65,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4089 , NGC 4091 , NGC 4092 , NGC 4095 .
The object was discovered by Heinrich Louis d'Arrest on May 4, 1864 .
