NGC 4108 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Draco the northern sky . It is estimated to be 117 million light years from the Milky Way and about 55,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxies PGC 38343 and PGC 38461 are located in the same area of ​​the sky .

The type IIP supernova candidate ASASSN -15lf was observed here.

Together with NGC 4210 , NGC 4221 , NGC 4332 , NGC 4256 , NGC 4513 and PGC 38461, it forms the NGC 4256 group .

The object was discovered by John Herschel on April 3, 1832 .
