NGC 4126 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 301 million light years from the Milky Way and about 100,000 light years across.
The galaxy NGC 4152 is located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on March 21, 1784 .
