NGC 4132 is a spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type Sa in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is an estimated 179 million light years from the Milky Way and is 55,000 light years across. Together with NGC 4131 and NGC 4134 it forms the galaxy trio Holm 339 and with PGC 38602 the galaxy pair KUG 1206 + 295 .

The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on April 11, 1785 .
