NGC 4149 = NGC 4154 is a radio galaxy of the Hubble type S? in the constellation Great Bear in the north star sky . It is estimated to be 141 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 55,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4141 and NGC 4161 .
The object was discovered by William Herschel on April 17, 1789 .
