NGC 4134 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sb with an active galaxy core in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is an estimated 171 million light years away from the Milky Way and is 110,000 light years across. Together with NGC 4131 and NGC 4132 , it forms the galaxy trio Holm 339 and is a member of the NGC 4185 group ( LGG 276 ).

The type IIP supernova SN 2014cn was observed here.

The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on April 11, 1785 .
