NGC 4125 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E6 / P in the constellation Draco the northern sky . It is an estimated 66 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 105,000 light years in diameter. Together with NGC 4121 , it forms the gravitationally bound galaxy pair Holm 335 and is the brightest member of the NGC 4125 group ( LGG 274 ).

The Type Ia supernova SN 2016coj was observed here.

The object was discovered on January 4, 1850 by the British astronomer John Russell Hind .
