NGC 4081 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sa in the constellation Ursa Major at the northern sky . It is an estimated 68 million light years from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years in diameter. Together with three other galaxies, it is considered a member of the NGC 4125 group ( LGG 274 ).
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on June 18, 1884 .
