NGC 4067 is a spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type Sb in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 105 million light years from the Milky Way and about 40,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4078 , NGC 4082 , IC 2990 , IC 2991 .
The object was discovered on March 15, 1784 by the astronomer Wilhelm Herschel with the help of an 18.7 inch reflector telescope.
