NGC 4067 is a spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type Sb in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 105 million light years from the Milky Way and about 40,000 light years in diameter.

In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4078 , NGC 4082 , IC 2990 , IC 2991 .

The object was discovered on March 15, 1784 by the astronomer Wilhelm Herschel with the help of an 18.7 inch reflector telescope.
