NGC 760
In the New General Catalog, NGC 760 refers to two apparently closely spaced stars in the triangle constellation , near the galaxy NGC 761 . The catalog entry goes back to an observation by the astronomer Ralph Copeland on December 19, 1873 with the Leviathan telescope , to whom this appeared as a nebula.
