NGC 758 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble-type SBb in the constellation Whale south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 74 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered in 1886 by the American astronomer Francis Preserved Leavenworth .
