The National Planning Commission (NPC; English National Planning Commission ) is a state institution in Namibia . This is directly subject to the office of the Namibian President . Your task is to plan the national development of Namibia. With a view to Vision 2030 , 5-year development plans are being drawn up by the NPC. In addition, the NPC organizes and accompanies special programs such as the Namibian-German Special Initiative Program (NGSIP) .
NPC is led by a General Director, who held a ministerial post as Presidential Minister for National Planning in the Geingob I cabinet from March 21, 2015 to March 22, 2020 . Obeth Kandjoze has been the minister since February 8, 2018 , and Director General since March 23, 2020. Tom Alweendo previously held the office.
