Nesluša ( Hungarian Neszlény - until 1902 Neszlusa ) is a large municipality in the Okres Kysucké Nové Mesto within the Žilinský kraj in Slovakia .
The place is located under the Javorníky Mountains on the Neslušanka brook and is four kilometers from Kysucké Nové Mesto , from which there is also the only road access. In addition to the main town itself, there are 22 individual settlements in the mountains (Slov. Kopanice ).
Nesluša was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1367 as Neszlusa and belonged to the Budatín Castle estate .
