New Gallery Gladbeck
The Neue Galerie Gladbeck is a public exhibition space in Gladbeck ( Recklinghausen district ).
history
Since 1995 the Gladbeck Gallery - at that time under the name "Städtische Galerie im Rathauspark" - has been housed in the former city library near the town hall in Gladbeck. Since the opening of the new building on November 13, 2009, it has been operating under the name “Neue Galerie Gladbeck”. According to its own statements, the gallery realizes four exhibitions of contemporary artists every year under the artistic direction of Gerd Weggel. The focus is on painterly positions.
