New Old Songs ( English for New Old Songs ) is a remix album by the US Nu-Metal band Limp Bizkit . It was released on December 3, 2001 on the Flip Records and Interscope Records labels .

content

The remixes included on the album are mostly from songs that are previously released singles by the band. These come from the three studio albums released by the band Three Dollar Bill, Yall $ (two songs), Significant Other (five tracks) and Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water (eight tracks). The remix for Crushed also includes a title from the soundtrack to the film End of Days . There are five different versions of the song My Way on the album.

production

13 different producers are involved in the production of the remixes. Most of the beats (three) come from DJ Lethal , the then DJ of Limp Bizkit. Timbaland , The Neptunes and DJ Premier contributed two instrumentals each . In addition, produced P. Diddy , Butch Vig , William Orbit , Fred Durst and Josh Abraham, Bosko, DJ Monk and The Track Mack and the Pistols ever a song.

Cover design

The album cover is in black and white. It shows several gray figures with their skulls open and each sticking their hands into the open head of the figure in front of them. In the upper part of the picture there are the words limp bizkit and new old songs in light gray.
