Nicoline started doing sports when she was five. From 2004 to 2007 she played for her hometown club Måløv BK and then moved to BSF , where she played first division football for the first time in 2013 and then moved to Damallsvenskan for LdB FC Malmö, which renamed itself FC Rosengård the next season and with whom she played in 2014 Won championship in Sweden. She scored her only competitive goal for the Swedes in an 8-0 win in the third round of the Cup on October 1, 2014 against fourth division Asarums IF . In 2015 she moved back to Denmark to Brøndby IF to get more playing time and to better coordinate school and sport. With her new team, she became Danish champions in 2015 and 2017 and won the trophy in 2015 and 2017 . In 2016 she was named Danish Talent of the Year. After the 2017 European Championships, she moved back to Sweden, this time to Linköpings FC . With Linköping she became Swedish champion in 2017. In 2018 she moved back to Brøndby after 11 games during the current Swedish season and was able to win the championship again with the club.

At European level, she was initially only on the bench in three games by LdB FC Malmö in the 2013/14 UEFA Women's Champions League , first in a 3-1 first leg at Lillestrøm SK and then in the last 16 against eventual winners VfL Wolfsburg . In the 2014/15 UEFA Women's Champions League , she then played a total of five minutes on two appearances. Your team was then eliminated again in the quarterfinals against the Wolfsburg women. 2015/16 ended with Brøndby in the round of 32, where after a 1: 4 defeat against Czech champions Slavia Prague, the 1: 0 home win was not enough. But she already had 143 minutes of use in the two games. Things went a little better in 2016/17 where she at least made the round of 32 against SKN St. Pölten with a 2-0 away win - where she scored both goals - and a 2-2 in the home stadium - where she scored the 2-2 final result contributed - survived. In the round of 16 they lost at Manchester City with 0: 1 and the 1: 1 in the home game was not enough against the team with English and Scottish national players. Manchester City were also the last opponents for them and Linköpings FC in the 2017/18 UEFA Women's Champions League . In the quarterfinals they lost 0-2 and 3-5. In the 2018/19 UEFA Women's Champions League she made it to the round of 16 with Brøndby, where they were eliminated after a 1-1 away game and a 2-0 home defeat by Lillestrøm SK Kvinner . The round of 16 also ended in 2019/20 , this time after a 2-0 home defeat and a 2-0 away win on penalties against Glasgow City FC . She had brought her team to the last sixteen with two goals in a 1-0 away win and 1: 1 in the home game against Piteå IF in the round of 32.

National teams

On May 11 and 13, 2012, she played two friendly matches against Sweden for her first appearances in the Danish U-16 team, with which she then took part in the 2012 Nordic Cup in July . Not quite two months later she played for the U-17 team for the first time in two friendly matches against Ireland. With her she first took part in the first qualifying round for the U-17 European Championship 2013 , in which they were group winners at a tournament in Macedonia with three wins and 12-0 goals. In the second round in spring 2013, however, they could only win against defending champions Germany , against Belgium and the Netherlands it was only enough to draw, scoring their first international goal on April 3 in a 2-2 draw against the Dutch. This made them unbeaten third in the group and, like the defending champions, missed the finals. In July she took part again with the U-16 team in the Nordic Cup in Iceland and scored her first two goals for the U-16 team in a 4: 3 against England on July 1. With the U-17 she then took part in the first qualifying round for the U-17 European Championship 2014 in her home country in August and contributed three goals in the three games to advance. In the second round, which this time followed in October with a tournament in Portugal, they could only win a point in a goalless draw against the hosts, but lost against the Czech Republic and Italy. This ended her time as a U-16 / U-17 player.

In March 2014, she then took part with the U-19 team in a small tournament in La Manga , Spain and then in Finland in the second qualifying round for the 2014 U-19 European Women's Football Championship . Here they could only win a point against the hosts at 2: 2, against England and Serbia they lost 0: 1 each. In September 2014, with the U-19 team in Baku , she survived the first qualifying round for the 2015 U-19 European Women's Football Championship with three wins . They were also able to win all three games in the second round in April 2015. This was the first time she took part in a U-19 European Championship finals. In Israel, however, they lost the first two games against France and the eventual winner Sweden 0-1 and then only won the meaningless third game against the hosts 2-1. In September they started a new attempt and were able to survive the first qualifying round for the 2016 European Under-19 Football Championship with three wins, with half of the goals in the 8-0 win against Latvia. In the second round, which took place in Denmark in April 2016, they could only use the home advantage in the first game against Northern Ireland, which was won 5-0. In the second game against Italy it was only enough to a 1-1 and the third game they lost against Spain 3-1, which meant that their time as a junior international was over.

In August there was a game with the U-23 team against Finland, which was won 5-1. Her first appearance in the senior national team was at the 2016 Sincere Cup in the People's Republic of China . In the second game against Iceland on October 22, she was allowed to play in the first half. She then also played in the first half of a friendly against Scotland in January 2017 and in the first group game of the 2017 Algarve Cup against defending champions Canada . This was followed by substitutions in the other group games against Portugal and Russia , where she was able to score her first goal for the senior team in a 6-1 win against the Russians. In June she was nominated for the 2017 European Championship finals - without a competitive appearance and as the youngest Danish player . There she was substituted on in the third group game against Norway in the 78th minute for her first European Championship game. In the knockout round she was substituted on again in the first minute of stoppage time in the extra time of the semi-finals against Austria. Your team then won the immediately following penalty shootout , but they did not have to compete. This was the first time the Danes were in the final of a major official tournament, but lost it 2: 4 against the hosts, although they were not used.

In the subsequent qualification for the 2019 World Cup, she only had two short appearances in the group matches and the playoffs against the Netherlands, against which she was eliminated. In the first half of the qualification for the EM 2021 , however, she was used in all games and scored four goals.
