Nikita Yuryevich Michailis ( Russian Никита Юрьевич Михайлис * 18th June 1995 in Karaganda ) is a Kazakh hockey player who since 2014 when Sultan Only Barys Astana / in the Continental Hockey League is under contract.
Career
Nikita Michailis started his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the junior division of Junost Karaganda. Since 2011 he has been playing in the Barys Astana system . After he was first used in the club's second team in the Kazakh championship , he played from 2012, when Barys pulled him in the fourth round of the KHL Junior Draft as the 121st player, until 2015 for Snezhnye Barsy Astana in Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga , a Russian-dominated junior league.
Since 2014 he has been playing for the professional team of Barys in the Continental Hockey League , but was also used in the second team, which from 2013 called itself Nomad Astana . He also played for Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk in the Russian Vysschaya Hockey League in 2016/17 .
International
Michailis played in the junior division for Kazakhstan at the U18 World Championships in 2012 , when he was also voted the best player of his team as the top scorer, and in 2013 , when he was the top scorer with his compatriot Semjon Koschelew and behind him was also the second best scorer of the tournament and again for best player of his team was chosen, as well as the U20 World Championships in 2013 , 2014 , when he was top scorer and behind his compatriot Yuri Sergijenko also the second top scorer and had the best plus / minus balance of the tournament, and 2015 , when he was not only top scorer again was and had the best plus / minus balance, but also the best preparer and after his compatriot Arkadi Shestakov and the Japanese Yūshirō Hirano was also the third best scorer, each in Division I.
