history

The settlement of the area of ​​today's Oak Park can be proven for the year 1822, the city is mentioned for the first time in 1840. The first census for the proof of a village community took place in the year 1927. October 1945.

Oak Park's first single-classroom Clinton School was established around 1900. The Clinton School was expanded to Junior High School around 1960 , and another high school , Robert Frost High, was built. A special feature is the Lessenger Elementary School , a school especially for children with learning disabilities.
