Oliver Sauer
Oliver Sauer (* 1960 in Rüsselsheim ) is a German actor .
Life
Sauer completed an acting training in Hamburg from 1984 to 1988 . Further studies took place from 1992-1993 during an extended stay abroad in New York City .
From 1989 to 1992 he worked as a theater actor at the Landesbühne Niedersachsen Nord in Wilhelmshaven . There he played, among other things, the Hans in The Minor performers by Peter Turrini , the Wachtmeister Werner in Minna von Barnhelm and the Casimir in Casimir and Karoline . From 1994 to 1996 another permanent engagement followed at the Stadttheater Gießen , where he appeared in 1996 as Osvald Alving in Ibsen’s drama Ghosts .
Sauer acted in several movies . In 2005 he shot the comedy film Swinger Club , directed by Jan Georg Schütte . In this multi-award-winning improvisation film, in which the actors only knew the initial situation, but there was no script, he took on the role of Chris , a good friend of the couple in the center, alongside Marie Bäumer and Stephan Schad . In 2006/2007 Sauer also took part in the scenic narration of the film on the stage of the Hamburg Thalia Theater . Directed by Schütte, another improvisation film followed in 2007, Die Glücklichen , in which Sauer played an old friend of the male lead from shared apartment days as Tom Huebner . In 2006, directed by Joseph Vilsmaier , he had a smaller role as Colonel of the Gestapo in the feature film The Last Train .
From the end of the 1980s, Sauer was regularly seen on German television . Sauer took on several continuous series roles, recurring episode roles and guest roles. Sauer was often used on German television in the role of the arrogant manager or businessman. He often took on episode roles in crime films and crime series, including in Stubbe - Von Fall zu Fall , Die Sitte , Der Ermittler and SOKO Cologne . He also had episode leading roles in the series Hello Robbie! , Coast Guard and Emergency Harbor Edge . In the ARD - sitcom bullying girls he played in 1998 the smooth but charming and good-looking employees of a warehouse Dr. Dr. Stefan Caspari. In 2010 he also had a continuous leading role in the RTL action series Lasko - Die Faust Gottes as the manipulative secret society manager Gunther von Kilian. In the mini-series Koffie to go (2010) produced by Norddeutscher Rundfunk and Radio Bremen , in which he portrayed real estate agent Klaus Petersen, Sauer, one of the directors of Schütte, also took on a role in an improvisational television format.
In 2013 he had a supporting role in the ZDF television film Best Friends ; he played Wolfgang Kandeler, the ex-lover of the female character Daniela. In November 2013 Sauer was seen in a leading role in the ZDF television series Notruf Hafenkante ; in the episode debut he played Theo Mendes, an ex-prisoner convicted of murder who was innocent in prison. From July 2015 to April 2016 he played the leading role as Lasse Petersen in the twelfth season of the telenovela Rote Rosen on Das Erste .
Sauer lives in Hamburg .
