Poland took part in the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Canada, with a delegation of 32 athletes in six disciplines, including 28 men and 4 women. None of the athletes managed to win a medal.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the ice hockey player Henryk Gruth .
