Organ building workshop Gebrüder Müller

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Gebrüder Müller organ building workshop was a German organ building company based in Reifferscheid in the Eifel .

history

The organ building workshop was opened in Reifferscheid in 1802 by the Müller brothers. It was closed in 1921. The Weimbs Orgelbau company , which was founded in 1927 in neighboring Hellenthal by Josef Weimbs, sees itself as an organ building company in the tradition of the Müller brothers . He had completed his apprenticeship as an organ builder in Reifferscheid between 1900 and 1905.

The organs of the Müller brothers are characterized by a good quality and can still be found today in many churches in the Rhineland , but also in Luxembourg , the Netherlands and Belgium .
