The Weimbs Orgelbau GmbH based in Hellenthal in the Eifel is a German organ building company.

history

The company was founded in 1927 by Josef Weimbs I (1886–1949) and is now run in the fourth generation by the two master organ builders Friedbert Weimbs (* 1947) and son Frank Weimbs (* 1971). The family business sees itself as the successor company to the organ building workshop Gebrüder Müller from the neighboring Reifferscheid founded in 1802 .

I / P 7th The organ was originally located in the chapel of the Franciscan convent in Arnoldsweiler. Since the monastery closed in 1990, the Franciscan Sisters from Salzkotten donated the organ to the parish of St. Arnold. In 1990 the organ was installed unchanged in Klein St. Arnold.
