Patryk Pysz (born January 15, 1975 in Zakopane ) is a former German - Polish ice hockey player ( winger ) who played for the Augsburg Panthers and Adler Mannheim in the German Ice Hockey League from 1992 to 2004 .

Career

Patryk Pysz began his career at the Polish club Podhale Nowy Targ before moving to Augsburg EV in the 2nd German Bundesliga in 1992 . After the athletic qualification for the newly founded DEL, the left shooter was also on the ice for their outsourced professional team, the Augsburg Panthers . In 1995 he signed a contract with Adler Mannheim, which he left after a year to work in North America. After a season at Columbus Chill in the Minor League East Coast Hockey League , he returned to Germany, where he initially played for the Hamburg Crocodiles in the second-highest German professional game class for three years . In 2000 Pysz moved to league competitor REV Bremerhaven , where he ended his career after the 2003/04 season.

In the 1993 NHL Entry Draft , the Pole was selected as 102nd in the fourth round by the Chicago Blackhawks ( drafted ), but he was never used in the National Hockey League .

International

For Poland , Pysz took part in the junior division of the U18 European Junior Championships in 1991 , 1992 and 1993 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 1992 , 1993 and 1995 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the B World Championships in 1994 , 2000 , 2001 and 2004 and at the A World Championships in 2002 .

• 2002 champion of the 2nd Bundesliga with REV Bremerhaven
• 2004 Champion of the Oberliga and promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga with REV Bremerhaven

International

• 1992 All-Star Team of the U18 Junior European Championship
• 2001 Promotion to the top division at the World Championship of Division I.
