Perne is a district of the municipality of Klipphausen in the district of Meißen , Saxony .

geography

Perne is located in the Meißner highlands between Wilsdruff , Nossen and Meißen . The village is surrounded by the other districts of Klipphausen: Groitzsch in the east, Tanneberg in the south, Rothschönberg in the west and Munzig in the north. It is located in the far east of the Rothschönberg district . To the south of Perne, which lies along the street of the same name, Federal Motorway 4 ran through Tanneberger Loch until 1999 .

history

Perne was built in the 18th century as a row of houses near a Vorwerk of the Rothschönberg manor , whose owners exercised the manorial rule in the place. The first residents of the settlement were day laborers who were employed in lime mining in neighboring Groitzsch. The place was first mentioned in 1791. Its place name probably goes back to an old field name, which is also reflected in the “Pernberg” connecting road to Rothschönberg. In 1814, the place was written as “Berne”, and the derived forms “Bernshäuser” and “Börnerhäuser” were also in use.

Limestone was mined in Perne between around 1700 and 1955. The foundations of two large low-shaft kilns on Rothschönberger Strasse and the water-filled remains of the limestone quarry have been preserved from the large lime works to this day. They are protected as a cultural monument, there is also another cultural monument in the village (see list of cultural monuments in Perne ). Eisenstein and ocher were also extracted in Perne.

The Häuslerzeile was parish to Burkhardswalde , but the Vorwerk to Rothschönberg. The administration was initially the responsibility of the Meissen Hereditary Authority . Then Perne came to the administrative authority of Meißen , from which the district of the same name emerged. On the basis of the rural municipality code of 1838 , Rothschönberg with Perne gained independence as a rural municipality , but lost its status as an independent municipality in 1973 when it was incorporated into Tanneberg, which has been part of Triebischtal since 1999. With the incorporation of Triebischtal on July 1, 2012, Perne is part of the municipality of Klipphausen. The districts of the former municipality of Tanneberg, i.e. Tanneberg, Rothschönberg and Perne, form a village within the municipality of Klipphausen with its own mayor and nine-member local council.
