The barangays Duhat, Ilaya and Ilosong are located south of the main town ( Poblacion ) and are connected to the road network via a paved road with the National Maharlika Highway in Baranggay Paaralan (also Pampaaralan ). This road is also the main gateway to Baranggay Kulawit in Atimonan Municipality to the west. Plaridel also has a railroad stop and connects the community with the Bicol region and the metropolitan metropolitan area of Metro Manila . The daily rail service is operated by the Philippine National Railways .
