Mulanay is a municipality in the Province of Quezon, Philippines . It has 53,123 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census). The parish is located on the Bondoc Peninsula , separated by the Mompog Passage from the island of Marinduque . The Buenavista Protected Landscape nature reserve is located on the territory of the municipality .

There is a campus of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in the community .
