Atimonan is a Filipino municipality in Quezon Province , Administrative Region IV, Calabarzon. It has 63,432 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 42 barangays . It is classified as the first income class community in the Philippines.
Padre Burgos is located in the south of the Bay of Lamon , on the coast of which there are extensive mangrove forests . Their neighboring communities are Padre Burgos and Unisan in the south, Plaridel in the southeast, Pagbilao in the southwest and Mauban in the northwest. The topography of the city is characterized by flat , hilly and mountainous landscapes. The highest point of the municipality is 427 meters above sea level, in Quezon National Park .
Atimonan is connected via the Maharlika Highway with the Bicol region and the metropolitan area of Metro Manila 175 km away .
