Guinayangan is a Filipino municipality in Quezon Province , Administrative Region IV, Calabarzon. It has 45,155 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 54 barangays . It is classified as a third income class community in the Philippines.
Guinayangan lies at the head of the Gulf of Ragay , on the coast of which there are smaller mangrove forests . Their neighboring communities are Lopez in the west, Calauag in the northwest, Buenavista in the south and Tagkawayan in the northeast. The topography of the city is characterized by flat , hilly and mountainous landscapes. The Maulawin Spring Protected Landscape and parts of the Lopez Watershed Forest Reserve are on the territory of the municipality .
Guinayangan has a railroad stop in Barangay Aloneros. This connects the community with the Bicol region and the metropolitan area of Metro Manila . The daily rail connections are operated by the Philippine National Railways .
