Plavecký Štvrtok (German Zankendorf or blister stone-Zankendorf , Hungarian Detrekőcsütörtök ) is a municipality in western Slovakia .
The municipality is located in the Záhorská nížina (part of the Vienna basin ), which belongs to the Záhorie region. To the west of the village is the Záhorie nature reserve, the town of Malacky is 9 km away.
In addition to the main town, the area of Feld also belongs to the municipality .
The place was mentioned in a document in 1206 as Cheturtuchyel . There is a church from the 14th century in the village.
