Kostolište (Slovak until 1948 "Kiripolec" - until 1927 "Kiripolce"; German rarely church square , Hungarian Egyházhely - until 1907 Kiripolc ) is a community in Okres Malacky within the Bratislavský kraj in Slovakia .
geography
The place lies in the Záhorská nížina (Záhorie lowlands) in the Záhorie and is only 4 km west of the town of Malacky .
history
In the cadastral area of today's municipality, a Roman barbarian settlement was briefly established at the end of the 4th century. Kostolište was first mentioned in a document from 1271 as Kilpiruis .
