Pernek (German Bäreneck , Hungarian Pernek ) is a municipality in the Okres Malacky within the Bratislavský kraj in Slovakia .
geography
The place is located in the Záhorská nížina (Záhorie lowlands) on the eastern slope of the Little Carpathian Mountains in the Záhorie ( Marchauen ) landscape . The borders of the Small Carpathian Landscape Protection Area are just outside the municipality. Pernek is located at the intersection of the Pezinok - Malacky and Lozorno - Jablonica national roads and is 13 km from Malacky, 20 km from Pezinok and 35 km from Bratislava .
history
The place was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1394 as Perneck and first belonged to the Counts of St. Georgen and Bösing , and since the 16th century it has belonged to the castle bladder stone . Later the Fugger, Balassa and Pálffy families were among the owners. Since the 17th century there was gold and silver mining in the municipality, and later pyrite and antimony mining until the 1920s .
