The Chanticleer Point , also Portland Women's Forum State Park is a State Park in Multnomah County in the US state of Oregon . The small, 3-acre state park is located on the 259 m high Canticleer Lookout . The park is a lookout point and offers panoramic views of Crown Point with the Vista House , Beacon Rock , Rooster Rock and the lower end of the Columbia River Gorge . At the entrance to the parking lot there is a rock with memorial plaques for personalities of regional history.

Originally there was an inn here, which burned down in the early 1930s. The 1.5-acre property was donated to the State of Oregon in 1962 by the Portland Women's Forum, an association of women's organizations that have worked to protect the Colubmia River Gorge. In 1970 the park area was expanded to its present size through purchase.
