qualification
As in the previous year, the first four players of the PDC Order of Merit qualified for the Premier League. In addition, four other players received a wildcard for the Premier League from the PDC and two more from Sky Sports .

Game mode
The qualified players first play in the mode of each against each other on nine match days before the last two players are eliminated on April 2nd and take 9th and 10th place. The remaining eight players play another round of each against each other on a further six match days, whereby the points from the first round are retained. A final evening will take place on May 21st. First the first four of the round (1 against 4, 2 against 3) play the semi-finals. Then both winners play the final.
If several players are tied, the difference between the legs won and lost, then the number of legs won when the opponent is thrown on and finally the 3-dart average in the tournament is used to determine the placement.
