Randy M. Robitaille (born October 12, 1975 in Ottawa , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who played 544 games for the Boston Bruins , Nashville Predators , Los Angeles Kings , Pittsburgh Penguins , New York Islanders , Atlanta Thrashers , Minnesota Wild , Philadelphia Flyers and Ottawa Senators in the National Hockey League on the position of the center has denied. Robitaille also spent a large part of his career in the top divisions in Switzerland and Russia as well as in the American Hockey League , where he celebrated his greatest career success in 1999 with the Providence Bruins by winning the Calder Cup .

Randy Robitaille began his career as a hockey player in his hometown with the Ottawa Junior Senators , for which he was active from 1993 to 1995. He then attended Miami University for two years , for whose ice hockey team he was also active in the National Collegiate Athletic Association . On March 27, 1997, he received a contract as a free agent with the Boston Bruins , for which he was until the end of the 1996/97 season in a game in the National Hockey League on the ice. In the following two years he played mostly for Boston's farm team Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League , while he only came to a total of nine other NHL appearances for Boston. From 1999 to 2001, the center played for the Nashville Predators in the NHL, for whose farm team Milwaukee Admirals he was parallel in the 2000/01 season in the International Hockey League on the ice. The 2001/02 season he began with the Los Angeles Kings in the NHL and their AHL farm team Manchester Monarchs, before he played for the NHL team of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the following year and a half. Shortly before the end of the 2002/03 season , he was finally transferred to the New York Islanders . In the 2003/04 season he stormed again for the Atlanta Thrashers .
During the lockout in the 2004-05 season Robitaille played for the ZSC Lions in the Swiss National League A . There he immediately became the top scorer and the best assists in the league. After the resumption of play in the NHL, he played in the 2005/06 season for the Minnesota Wild . The following season he started with the Philadelphia Flyers and finished them with his ex-team New York Islanders. In the 2007/08 season he started with Lokomotive Yaroslavl in the Russian Super League . For the team he scored three goals and five assists in 14 games before he was signed as a free agent by the Ottawa Senators from his hometown in October 2007 . From 2008 to 2010 the Canadian played again in the Swiss NLA, but this time for HC Lugano . In his second engagement in Switzerland, he was able to convince, especially in the 2009/10 season , when he was again top scorer and the best assists in the league. The following season he spent with the San Antonio Rampage in the AHL. For the 2011/12 season , the long-time NHL player was committed to Metallurg Novokuznetsk from the Continental Hockey League and played for this club until the middle of the 2012/13 season.
Between January 2013 and spring 2014 was Robitaille at HC Donbass under contract and won during this time with the club the IIHF Continental Cup of the 2012/13 season . After this station he ended his active career.
