Raynard Shayne Tissink (born November 10, 1973 ) is a former South African triathlete and multiple Ironman winner (between 2002 and 2011).

Career

In 2000 he finished sixth in the Duathlon World Championship on the long distance and in the same year he started his first Ironman (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running). Raynard Tissink was able to win a triathlon eight times over the Ironman distance.
His best result at the Ironman Hawaii was a fifth place in 2010.

In 2013 he ended his active time in racing after more than 22 years and today Tissink is active as a coach.

He lives in Port Elizabeth with his wife Natalie and two children .
