Konstantin Bachor (born November 17, 1984 ) is a former German triathlete . He is included in the best list of German triathletes on the Ironman distance .

Career

Konstantin Bachor grew up in Danndorf . He trained with the sports promotion group of the Lower Saxony police, started for VfL Wolfsburg and has been in the German long-distance national team since October 2007. In May 2011 he finished second at the Ironman Lanzarote and at the Challenge Barcelona-Maresme he finished third on the long distance in October 2013, after having been in the lead for a long time up to the running distance.

In August 2014 he became European triathlon champion on the Olympic distance at the police championships held in Bremen. Ten days later he won the ICAN triathlon in Nordhausen in the middle distance.

In July 2019, the then 34-year-old declared his active time over. He is a police superintendent and lives with his wife in Wolfsburg .
