South Biboki ( Indonesian Biboki Seletan ) is a district ( Kecamatan ) of the Indonesian administrative district ( Kabupaten ) of North Central Timor (Timor Tengah Utara) in the province of East Nusa Tenggara (Nusa Tenggara Timur) on the island of Timor . The administrative headquarters are in Manufui in the Desa Upfaon .

South Biboki is located in the east of North Central Timor's administrative district. South of South Biboki is the Insana district , to the west is the Central Insana (Insana Tengah) district, the Biboki Moenleu and Biboki Feotleu districts to the north and the North Biboki (Biboki Utara) and Biboki Tanpah districts to the east . South Biboki has an area of 164.17 km².
The district is divided into eight villages ( Indonesian Desa ). Then there is Tamkesi , which is a "Desa in preparation." The Desa Pantae occupies the largest area with 38.00 km² .
The tropical climate is determined by a rainy season from December to March and a dry season from June to September.
Native plants include palmyra palms , bamboo, coconut, teak, mahogany, and lamtoro. 22,812.50 hectares are forested.
Residents
In 2016 there were 9,595 people (4,758 men and 4,837 women) in 2,273 households in the district. The population density is 58 inhabitants per square kilometer. In 2016 there were 168 births and 61 deaths in the district. 1,127 residents were 0 to 4 years old, 155 were 75 years or older. Most of the people live in the Desa Upfaon (2,389 inhabitants). 9,449 people profess the Catholic faith, 132 people are Protestants and 14 Muslims. There are nine Catholic churches and one Protestant church in Upfaon in the district.
Public facilities
The district has one kindergarten, nine elementary schools, three junior high schools, and one senior high school. 42 health facilities are available for medical care.
Economy and Infrastructure
Rice was grown on 97 hectares in 2015 in the district and 264 tons were harvested. A harvest of 2,785 tons of maize was achieved on 1,332 hectares and 2,743 tons of cassava were produced in 196 hectares. In 2016, fruits were harvested from avocados, mangoes, rambutans, citrus fruits, papayas, bananas and pineapples. Other agricultural products include coconuts, coffee, pecans, cashews, cocoa, vanilla, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, kale, and sweet potatoes. In 2016, the farm animals kept 4,329 cattle, 22 water buffalo, 158 horses, 3,362 goats, 4,643 pigs and 3,448 chickens.
