Biboki Anleu is an Indonesian district ( Kecamatan ) in the west of the island of Timor .

The district is located in the northeast of the administrative district of North Central Timor (Timor Tengah Utara) of the East Nusa Tenggara Province (Nusa Tenggara Timur) , on the north coast of Timor to the Sawu Sea . To the west is the Biboki Moenleu district and to the south Biboki Feotleu . In the east, Biboki Anleu borders on the administrative district of Belu with its districts of West Tasifeto (Tasifeto Barat) and Kakuluk Mesak .
Biboki Anleu has an area of 206.40 km² and is divided into the nine Desa Sifaniha , Motadik and Nonotbatan in the east, Tuamese and Maukabatan in the north and Kotafoun , Ponu , Oemanu and Nifutnasi in the southwest. The administrative headquarters are in Ponu. The entire territory is less than 500 m above sea level . As usual in Timor, the climate is divided into a rainy and a dry season .

Residents
In 2017 there were 16,494 inhabitants in Biboki Anleu. 8,374 were men and 8,120 women. The population density was 79.91 people per square kilometer. 14,944 people professed the Catholic faith, 1,515 were Protestants and 35 people were Muslim. There were eleven Catholic and seven Protestant churches in the district.
Economy, infrastructure and transport
Most of the district's residents make a living from agriculture. Cattle (13,089), horses (23), buffalo (318), pigs (8,314), goats (8,289) and chickens (18,543) are kept as pets. Corn is grown on 1,560 hectares, rice on 2,259 hectares, manioc on 57 hectares, sweet potatoes on eight hectares, peanuts on eight hectares and green beans on five hectares.
Biboki Anleu has 15 primary schools, six middle schools and three secondary schools. A community health center ( Puskesmas ), three medical care centers ( Puskesmas Pembantu ) and eight midwifery centers ( Polindes ) are available for medical care .
22.6 kilometers of roads are paved. 47.43 kilometers of roads are covered with gravel. Simple clay slopes in the district are ten kilometers long. Public transport is operated by four minibuses, 20 pick-ups, 28 trucks, three buses and 226 motorcycles.
