Biboki Tanpah is an Indonesian district ( Kecamatan ) in the west of the island of Timor .

The district is located in the east of the administrative district of North Central Timor (Timor Tengah Utara) in the province of East Nusa Tenggara (Nusa Tenggara Timur) . In the south is the Insana district , in the west South Biboki (Biboki Selatan) and in the north North Biboki (Biboki Utara) . To the east, Biboli Tanpah borders the Malaka administrative district with its Laenmanen district .
Biboki Tanpah has an area of 99.15 km² and is divided into the four Desa Teba in the west, Oerinbesi and Oekopa in the northeast and East Teba (Teba Timur) in the southeast. The administrative headquarters are in Oenopu in Desa Teba. The territory is less than 500 m above sea level . As usual in Timor, the climate is divided into a rainy and a dry season .
Residents
In 2017 there were 6,236 residents in Biboki Tanpah. 3,074 were men and 3,162 women. The population density was 62.88 people per square kilometer. 6,152 people professed to be Catholic, 80 were Protestants and four people were Muslim. There was a Catholic church and five chapels in the district.
Economy, infrastructure and transport
Most of the district's residents make a living from agriculture. Cattle (2,129), buffalo (three), pigs (1,737), goats (238) and chickens (3,905) are kept as pets. There are also two fish ponds for breeding. Maize is grown on 652 hectares, 724 hectares of rice, 600 hectares of cassava, 30 hectares of sweet potatoes, 50 hectares of peanuts and ten hectares of green beans. Other agricultural products include beans, chilli, tomatoes, cucumber, spinach, coconuts, cashews, coffee, cocoa, hazelnuts, kapok, areca nuts, pepper and vanilla.
There are five elementary schools, two middle schools and one secondary school in Biboki Tanpah. A community health center ( Puskesmas ), a medical care center ( Puskesmas Pembantu ) and two midwifery centers ( Polindes ) are available for medical care .
Public transport is operated by two minibuses, 20 pick ups and trucks, two buses, 62 motorcycles and two other vehicles.
