history
TSV Lehnerz
The association was founded on December 2, 1965. In 1997 he was promoted to the Landesliga Hessen-Nord . Ten years later the TSV was runner-up behind the FSC Lohfelden , but failed in the following relegation to the Oberliga Hessen at Rot-Weiss Frankfurt . In 2010 the team reached the Hessenliga relegation again, but failed at 1. FCA Darmstadt and OSC Vellmar . In 2011 TSV won the Fulda regional cup and qualified for the Hessen Cup . There, the team retired in the quarterfinals after a 0-1 defeat against Kickers Offenbach .
The third relegation participation two years later was unsuccessful for Lehnerz after Lehnerz lost 4-1 to Kickers Obertshausen on the last match day . For the 2012/13 season, the four-time GDR national player Henry Lesser took over the coaching position at TSV Lehnerz and led the team to the championship and the associated promotion to the Hessen League. This season both the second team rose to the Verbandsliga Nord and the third team to the district league A Fulda. In 2015 the TSV was runner-up behind TSV Steinbach and qualified for the promotion round to the Regionalliga Südwest . There Lehnerz met the Bahlinger SC and the SC Hauenstein , but was only second and thus missed the promotion. The team finished the 2015/16 season in third place.
After the season 2016/17 reached the seventh place in the table, the team missed in the season 2017/18 the relegation matches to move up to the Regional Southwest in third place against the runner-up FC Bayern Alzenau only on goal difference. The sticking point was the 1: 2 home defeat on the penultimate matchday against local rivals Borussia Fulda .
